Default Stop the charges!

Ok, today i read numerous threads on GW, and 80% of them were just unhappy people. When GW sees unhappy people they try to fix it, but I have learned that the biggest problems, are the ones they charge for. For example, extra storage slot was mentioned by Gaile with an "understandable fee", GW probably understands that storage IS HIGHLY NEEDED, by almost EVERYONE that plays GW, so they charge for it to make the big bucks.

Every game needs a way to make money, but this is just GW trying to make up for their "WE WILL NEVER CHARGE MONTHLY". As I read in another thread, GW does not charge monthly, but anyhting that is HEAVILY needed in the game they charge for.... WTF is up with that. I know that i need A LOT of more storage space, and some people say "It's free, so some charge here and there don't really matter", but any of you old-school gamers probably played Diablo 2: LOD, the game was PERFECT, your storage was HUGE, why cant GW just add this w/o being greedy about it.

It's not like it takes them millions of dollars (which they would be making by charging a feee for this) to make extra storage, or does it??

Anyone who would like to respond with other things you have seen GW trying to charge us for, and other ways for them to "get by" w/o a monthly fee please post it.

GW itself is a wonderful game, but there are so many problems, and the biggest ones have a charge on them if you want to fix it, how about some customer satisfaction and give us some more, NEEDED storage, it's not like ONLY people that farm/collect need it, the average player needs it, and GW's way of making up for some storage is to be able to buy character slots which cost ~10 dollars each, so u can mule your items, just another way for them to take our money, and I know it is our option to buy all this, but in reality, I have come to conclusion that the game is not fun w/o these basic needs. And then being told you must pay for them.... not cool GW.

Also, I would love to hear posts backing up GW on this, because I think due to current events I am quite biased on everything concerning GW.

lmao avatar is a joke bowman, also, I understand what you say, but I think charging for basic needed things is not needed, maybe they can charge for the more "luxorious" stuff.
When i say "luxorious" i mean like stuff that is not needed, just stuff that people would want, use your imagination, and my main concerne is not the characer slots cuz i will buy some, its the darn storage space, which isn't wanted, it's NEEDED

Also, I would like being able to get this stuff for InGame money.

Nope, it doesn't. But it does take millions of dollars to pay for networks, servers, staff wages, electricity, water, internet bandwidth, merchandise productions, world championship and E3 organization etc. etc.

Sure, there might be 2 million players, but at, lets say, 70 bucks each (let's say around 50% of people own both chapters) for a couple of million players (I'll go for 1.5), that's still only... $105m. Not that much in the scheme of things, with 3 data processing plants (server buildings) all around the world, superfast internet connections for them, hundreds of routers dedicated to those servers, hundreds of moderators, dev staff, PR team, advertising, taxes, all kinds of things.

IMO, they are perfectly within their rights (and I have no problem with them doing this) to charge a fee for slots, storage and other in-game stuff. Heck, I'll probably fork over some cash for a couple of lines more of storage.

EDIT: Whats up with the gold-selling avatar?

Storage space isin't needed to facilitate gameplay, or fix any gigantic underlying issue that causes the game to be horrible. D2:LOD was far from "perfect". Even that game had "limited" storage space that caused you to have to create mules, and then make a game, wait 5 minutes, drop your items, log onto another acc join the game, and pick em up...

Storage doesn't make the game hell, it just means you have to choose what to pickup and what to leave there. What to sell, how much you buy, what to keep...

If they dont offer the option at all u will have that space anyway, so, if u dont want to pay imagine that more space is impossible to get

Now seriously, when more space, characters was not possible there was threads: "OMG I need more space/characters!!!! even if i pay a little is ok", now there is an option and its like: "OMG i have to pay for everything!!!!"

ppl are never happy whit stuff they have

i think there needs to be more storage. a new game comes new characters, then comes less room to hold items. i have both my 10 slot bags dedicated to just armor on my characters. so that leaves 30 slots for items while im out and about. and only 25 slots to share between my 6 characters. Extra storage is NEEDED

I use 1 set of armour, the bonus differences just arent really that significant to me. Style? I'm a mesmer, I already have the clothes that I like^^.

I don't know where this thread is going, it's just an amalgamation of all other threads related to this. *yawn* I'm going to be rude and buy a new character slot... just because I can.
